On Saturday, November 1st, the Hocking College Women’s Basketball team delivered a statement performance, rolling past Miami Middletown with a decisive 100–50 victory. The Lady Hawks fired on all cylinders from the opening tip, combining efficient offense, relentless defense, and unselfish team play to secure their most commanding win of the season.

Lilly Weaver led the charge as the team’s floor general, finishing with 14 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists, 2 steals, and 0 turnovers in a near-flawless performance. Gianna Boyce provided steady play at both ends, contributing 7 points while also committing no turnovers.

In the frontcourt, Hawa Ba dominated the paint, recording a powerful double-double with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocksCarmyn continued her all-around impact with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 1 block, and another turnover-free game. Hazley Wagner rounded out the starting five with 11 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals, helping spark Hocking’s up-tempo attack.

Off the bench, the Lady Hawks saw tremendous contributions that kept the momentum rolling. Aubriona was electric offensively, leading all scorers with 21 points on 81% from the field, while also adding 4 rebounds and 3 stealsAliyah provided a strong presence with 12 points and 5 rebounds, and Tori dominated the glass, pulling down 10 rebounds to go with 6 points, 2 steals, and 2 blocks. Arianna added 5 points and 6 rebounds, while Aubree filled the stat sheet with 2 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals, showcasing the team’s depth and defensive tenacity.

Hocking’s ability to reach the 100-point mark was fueled by unselfish ball movement and a balanced scoring attack, as every player contributed on both ends of the floor. The Lady Hawks also took excellent care of the basketball, committing minimal turnovers while forcing numerous steals and transition opportunities.
