Hocking College student receives OHHA Scholarship

Hocking is celebrating one of its students, Danielle Legault, who has been selected as a recipient of the Ohio Harness Horseman's Association (OHHA) Scholarship for the 2023-2024 academic year. This scholarship is awarded to college students across Ohio, and Danielle is among the fourteen to receive this honor.

Danielle Legault is a graduate of Lebanon High School and is currently pursuing her education at Hocking College. She is enrolled in the Farrier Science and Business program.

The OHHA Scholarship, totaling $15,000 among all recipients, is available to graduating high school seniors and students already enrolled in degree or certificate programs. Additionally, graduate students specializing in harness racing-related fields are eligible. These scholarships are designed to ease the financial burden of coursework and degree-related expenses for college and university students while supporting the harness racing community.
