Hocking College’s Auto Tech Club hosted its first Canal Car Show & Street Cruise on Saturday, Sept. 27, bringing car lovers to The Lodge at Hocking College for an afternoon of engines, food, music, vendors, and raffles.
Led by Automotive Instructor Jason Jones, the show welcomed “any and all” entries across five categories: Best Domestic, Best Import, Best Truck/SUV, Best of Show, and the student-voted Student Choice Award.
The Student Choice pick gave Hocking automotive students a chance to ask technical questions, see a range of builds, and connect with the local auto community. Sponsors, including Pepsi and several local businesses, contributed awards and door prizes.
After the show, participants cruised together through the community. “This was our first one, and we want it to grow into a tradition that brings car lovers and neighbors together at Hocking,” Jones said.
